Named after legendary Mississippi blues legend John Lee Hooker (who hailed from right around Clarksdale), Hooker Grocer + Eatery restaurant is housed in an old plantation commissary building that was moved downtown nearly 20 years ago. It also features an enclosed courtyard with sun shade, heaters and a fireplace. Hooker typically features weekly music on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
